Brad Johnston (Mason & Bird) and Benoît Lasplace (Mistelle Bickley) will cook side-by-side over four courses matched with the award winning wines from Hainault Estate.
Brad and Benoît have built impressive C.V's in the dining scene in Perth and abroad before launching their own restaurants in the Hills. Together they have many years of experience in fine dining, combining this appreciation for excellence with a more approachable style to their menus. They share a common good food philosophy in partnering with great local producers and suppliers.
Both chefs are keen explorers in new techniques of cooking. Brad’s cooking is exciting and creative, so you can expect to enjoy select native ingredients within his dishes. Benoît brings his French heritage to the table with a freshness suited to the Australian landscape.
Set inside Mistelle Bickley over looking the vines of Hainault Estate, this unique dinner will be paired with wines from the vineyard.
At 400 m above sea level, Hainault is the highest vineyard in Western Australia and is in one of the coldest parts of the State. All of the wines are made from estate grown, hand picked fruit using minimal interventions.
The collaboration dinner is sure to be a highlight of the Bickley Harvest Festival for 2019, so be quick as bookings are limited.
